JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 24 / 2006

Unit 1 is in operation at planned power level. Today at 0:45 o?clock, Unit 2 has been synchronized with the power distribution grid and the electricity production has been restored.

February 2, 2006

Unit 2 will now operate at half rated power for two days. It is at this power level that the planned physics tests will be carried out that will, for example, verify the uniform power distribution in the reactor. Additional planned tests will take place at the power level of 90 % RTP. At the end of this week, the Unit will operate at full power. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on February 2, 2006 at 09:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 98 %
· Turbine generator output - 979 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 728 649 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on February 2, 2006 at 09:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 50 %
· Turbine generator output - 401 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 54 079 MWh
