JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 242 / 2006

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

At Unit 1, the test of the reactor control rods has been successfully carried out at the weekend. Yesterday at 22 hours, the Unit 1 restored the electricity delivery into the national distribution net. From today, the Unit is operating on the planned power.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on December 11, 2006 at 07:30 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 96 %
· Turbine generator output - 975 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 978 741 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on December 11, 2006 at 07:30 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 98 %
· Turbine generator output - 999 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 045 094 MWh
