INFORMATION ON NPP TEMELÍN 245 / 2019

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation. On Friday evening the power plant decreased its output by 50 percent. The second unit remained on the full power operation, the first unit was disconnected from the grid. Parallel with the work of ČEPS, the plant´s technicians verified the turbine settings. The operation personnel connected the first unit to the grid on Sunday night. Currently, the second unit is at full power level, the first unit at 60 percent. Full power level is planned still today. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1:

  • Unit is in operation
  • Turbine generator output - 580 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 7 527 777 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2:

  • Unit is in operation
  • Turbine generator output - 1093 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 7 974 252 MWh
