Information on NPP Temelín 250 / 2007

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

On Saturday morning, Unit 1 will be, as planned, shut down for a short period. The reason of it is the performance of the regular test of the reactor control rods. Also, the workers of the Škoda Power company will use the unit outage to finalize the balancing of the turbine after the replacement of the high pressure turbine. In accordance with the outage schedule, the electricity delivery from the Unit 1 should be restored at the Christmas Eve.

  Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on December 21, 2007 at 8:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1010 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 953 180 MWh

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1001 MW
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 6 822 499 MWh
