Information on NPP Temelín 67 / 2007

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, a planned outage is under way, that is connected with the annual refueling of ¼ of the reactor fuel. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

April 3, 2007

During the past weekend, cold pressure tests have been performed at Unit 1. Yesterday evening, the hot pressure test of the primary circuit at the pressure of 17,65 MPa has been also successfully completed. Also, the secondary unit part has been checked by a pressure test. Currently, the operations personnel continue the preparations to restore the unit’s operation. In accordance with the current schedule of the outage finale, the Unit 1 reactor start is planned for Friday the 6 April 2007 afternoon.

· Unit is in Mode 5
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 579 239 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on April 3, 2007 at 10:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 99 %
· Turbine generator output - 1010 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 201 263 MWh
