JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 71/2007

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, the operators brought the reactor into operation on Saturday evening.

After having completed a series of core physics tests, they are currently carrying on the power ascension testing of the reactor at step-by-step increasing power. In the end of the week, the unit will be synchronized to the national distribution grid. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on April 10, 2007 at 08:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 2
· Reactor power is 1 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 579 239 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on April 10, 2007 at 08:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 99 %
· Turbine generator output - 1010 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 371 365 MWh
