JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 73 / 2008

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. Unit 1 restored the electricity delivery to the distribution grid this morning. Hereby, its outage due to the repair of the electric heaters of the pressurizer has been completed. Currently, reactor power increase is carried on and the unit will reach full power before midday. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on April 14 2008 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 – power operation
  • Reactor power is 80 %
  • Turbine generator output - 783 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 886 508 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on April 14, 2008 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 992 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 429 435 MWh
