Information on NPP Temelín 99 / 2007

Unit 1 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 2, the planned output is under way connected with the replacement of ¼ of the reactor fuel. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

May 21, 2007

On Saturday May 19, Unit 1 was shortly shutdown as planned. The reason was the performance of the regular test of the reactor control organs. The test was successful. All reactor control organs have arrived at their end positions and met their required drop times. Due to completion of all planned activities in advance and in agreement with the power dispatching, Unit 1 was re-synchronized with the distribution grid on Sunday May 20 at 10:30 a.m. The Unit is operating at full power since yesterday 20:30 o‘clock.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on May 21, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 97 %
· Turbine generator output - 981 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 202 651 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on May 21, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 6
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 975 006 MWh
