The first Unit is operated at a planned power level. At Unit 2, the planned outage connected with the replacement of ¼ of fuel in the reactor is under way. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

Ivan Lapin became the new director of the Sprava CEZ (Administration) section starting from July 1, 2007. So far, he has worked for CEZ Group as director of CEZ Sprava majetku, s.r.o. (Assets Administration). In the position of the head of the Sprava section he replaced Daniel Benes, who became Chief Officer of CEZ.

On June 29, CEZ and Komercni banka signed an agreement about providing settlement of liabilities arising from dealings on the Prague Energy Exchange.
