Alan Svoboda at the head of CEZ power company trade

Job Experience::

McKinsey & Company, Praha (1/00 - up to now, 8/96 - 3/98)

- global management consulting firm advising the top management of leading companies on issues of strategy

Associate Partner (until 12/02 Project Manager)
·         He focused on work with clients from energy, gas manufacture, petrochemical and production sectors

·         He was responsible for projects and knowledge development in above-mentioned fields in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

·         He was a member of the leading energy team of the European expert group McKinsey, where he was responsible especially for knowledge development in distribution, trading and risk management

·         He took active part in European petrochemistry and basic material expert teams

·         He worked in a number of McKinsey offices in the long term - besides Prague  also in Madrid, Amsterdam, Lisbon, DĂĽsseldorf, Moscow, and shortly in Warsaw and London 

·         Besides others he led energy project focusing on the following: market development, strategy planning, general company restructuring management, integration after fusions, trading, product development and sales procedures, governance assessment, risk management, improvement of cost efficiency, optimization of assets.
