Calling Days in Temelin NPP - Full Up

Temelin nuclear power plant will be having "Calling Days and Seeing of Generation Unit One" during 19th - 21st May and 26th - 28th May 2000. At present, Temelin NPP is undergoing preliminary tests and revisions of devices. Nuclear fuel will soon be charged in the reactor.

 

Temelin nuclear power plant will be having "Calling Days and Seeing of Generation Unit One" during 19th 21st May and 26th 28th May 2000. At present, Temelin NPP is undergoing preliminary tests and revisions of devices. Nuclear fuel will soon be charged in the reactor.

"The offer of Temelin NPP Information Center has met with tremendous interest in the public. All twenty-four scheduled terms were booked up by almost a thousand interested visitors in a couple of days. Because of the schedule and progress of works, however, this unique opportunity cannot be further expanded to satisfy the other interested," commented Ing. Milan NebesaĹ™, Temelin NPP Press Spokesman, the interest of the public in the seeing of the Unit. "Anybody wishing to get information about nuclear power engineering and Temelin NPP can still make an arrangement with workers of the Information Center. Upon agreement, they will be offered any of standard programs of excursions in Temelin NPP," added Mr. Nebesar to further opportunities for visiting Temelin NPP.
