CEZ has lodged a complaint against former company´s representatives

The power Company CEZ, through an external attorney´s office, lodged a complaint with the authorities responsible for criminal proceedings with the request to investigate activities of the former board chairman and the former board member and the former general manager in the affair of conclusion of a Contract for the right of option between the companies CEZ, Vivendi and Vivendi Telecommunication International.

 

The power Company CEZ, through an external attorney's office, lodged a complaint with the authorities responsible for criminal proceedings with the request to investigate activities of the former board chairman and the former board member and the former general manager in the affair of conclusion of a Contract for the right of option between the companies CEZ, Vivendi and Vivendi Telecommunication International.

The complaint was lodged based on the results of an forensic audit, made by the firm Deloitte and Touche, on the request of the existing CEZ's board of directors and the supervisory board that had been elected by the General Shareholders' Meeting on July 4, 2000.

Going out of the results of the same audit, the new board of directors of the daughter company CEZTel also lodged a complaint with the authorities responsible for criminal proceedings with the request to investigate activities of the former general manager of the CEZTel in the affair of the Sales contracts for the purchase of shares of the trading company Echoton, a.s.
