International economic results of the CEZ Group for the 1st quarter of 2004
The Group of CEZ power company reached a net profit of 5.25 billion CZK according to the International Financial Reporting Standards in the first quarter, when the profit reached in the same period last year was 3.34 billion CZK. Operation earnings (EBIT) reached the amount of 8.28 billion CZK, when it was 4.64 billion CZK in the 1st quarter of 2003 (EBITDA reached 12.86 billion CZK).Total revenues have increased by nearly 75 per cent to 27.67 billion CZK, total costs have increased to 19.39 billion CZK from 11.19 billion CZK last year.
