Petr Voboril appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEZ

The Board of Directors of the CEZ Power Company appointed Petr Voboril as Vice-Chairman of the Board at their today´s meeting. Alan Svoboda remains as the other Vice-Chairman of the Board.

The Board has had only one vice-chairman up to now, in accordance with the company´s constitution . The constitution was amended at Thursday´s general meeting of the shareholders and the number of vice-chairmen rose to two (without distinction first and second).

Vice-Chairman: Alan Svoboda, Petr Vobořil

Members: David Svojitka, Jiři Vagner

 

Petr Vobořil (* 1950)

He has been a member of the Board of CEZ since 6. 11. 2002.

From 3. 11. 2003 to 23. 2. 2004 he was appointed as temporary chairman of the Board of CEZ, and from 24. 2. 2003 to 3. 11. 2003 he already held the post of the Vice-Chairman of the Board.

A graduate of the Mechanical Faculty of CVUT (Czech Technical University) in Prague, subject Environment Technique, postgraduate studies of development of heat supply and InterManager course, a managerial skills of European standard training. From May 2003 on he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Stredoceka energeticka a. s. (Central-Bohemian Power Company).
