CEZ was the first European utility to receive the Edison Electric Institute International Utility Award for superior performance
For the three-year period ending December 2006, CEZ Group provided 780% total return to its shareholders. It represents the highest return among all European utility companies. Yesterday in London, the EEI International Utility Award was received by Mr. Alan Svoboda, Executive Director of CEZ Power Company. The Award, which is traditionally presented in the USA, has been awarded in Europe for the first time.

Josef Hejsek has been appointed as country manager of CEZ Group in Bosnia and Herzegovina
In context with CEZ Group´s foreign expansion in Central and South-Eastern Europe, Josef Hejsek was nominated as the country manager of CEZ Group in Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 1, 2007. He will take over responsibility for activities associated with the development of CEZ Group´s operation in both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is the Republic of Serbia and in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In February CEZ Group will deliver electricity to Albania
CEZ Power Company and the Albanian power company KESH have concluded a contract about February electricity supply. This first trial supply might be followed by larger supplies in next months.

CEZ Group started to deliver electricity to multinational companies throughout the whole Central and Eastern Europe
CEZ Group recently concluded first framework agreement under which it shall deliver electricity to Kraft Foods´ companies in five countries in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. More customers showed interest in such integrated regional supplies
