Charged within 10 minutes! ČEZ is launching the construction of ultra-fast charging stations for electric cars
*ČEZ has commissioned 10 ultra-fast racks with an output of 150 to 300 kW.
*The ČEZ charging network is comprised of a total of 465 stations, where as many as 930 cars can be recharged at any one time . * ČEZ already offers 14 locations across the Czech Republic where 6 or more electric vehicles can be charged simultaneously. Just like a regular petrol station! Drivers of electric cars will not spend more than that amount of time charging their cars at the new ČEZ ultra-fast stands that have an output of 225 or 300 kW, which have sprung up to replace lower power stations along the D1, D5, and D35 motorways. They will soon be available at other busy locations. At the same time, ČEZ is expanding the network of fast stations where several electric cars can be charged at the same time, reducing drivers’ time spent waiting and recharging.24. 10. 2022
ČEZ has reduced the energy intensity of its power generation by 10% in 15 years, with further large savings down the pipeline
ČEZ Group is also setting an example in energy-saving behaviour in its power plants, as it plans to achieve significant savings in internal consumption in the coming years and gain additional energy by installing innovative emission-free sources. By these means, the company expects to achieve cumulative savings and added generation in the order of thousands of megawatt hours per year.

The first ship carrying LNG for the Czech Republic reaches Eemshaven, the Netherlands
The first LNG terminal put into operation in Europe since the start of the war in Ukraine is gradually switching to full operation. After the opening ceremony on 8 September, and the arrival of the tanker Murex with the initial cargo, the first ship with a cargo of liquified gas for ČEZ reaches Eemshaven – the tanker Gaslog Georgetown, coming from the United States.

The Datteln wind project succeeds in obtaining operating support in German auction
The ČEZ Group Datteln project received operating support of 58.7 EUR/MWh in a German auction of onshore wind power plants. Depending on the correction factor actually used, this will secure it a 78 EUR/MWh tariff for 20 years from connection. This will gain ČEZ further experience in the preparation of wind projects, which it can apply in the Czech Republic. At the same time, it will support a security power supply in Europe that is independent of Russia.
