CEZ Power Company continues its foreign expansion in the area of South-Eastern Europe by an official statement about its interest in the Romanian distribution company Electrica Mutenia Sud S.A.

CEZ continues the privatization tender by submitting another bid for the Polish coal-fired power plant Kozienice. CEZ Power Company first bid for a fully 10 % share at the end of this year´s April, and consequently it has been included in the short list of six parties concerned.

The net profit of CEZ Group reached an amount of 11 billion CZK and is 39 % up on last year
